The heart of Touchstone’s electric fireplaces is the impressive flame display. These flames deliver the same relaxing effect as real flames without the hassle. They create a cozy atmosphere in any room and offer 60 color combinations for customization. Operate the heat and flame settings conveniently with the remote control (batteries not included) or mobile app.
The Sideline Elite® provides heat that takes the edge off a cool bedroom, family room or basement. It has two heat settings and a thermostat mode and can warm up a room up to 400 sq. ft. Please note that it is not intended to be the primary heat source but rather to supplement your existing heating system. Control the heat settings using the remote, app or the built-in heat timer.
The versatile Sideline Elite electric fireplace can be inserted into or mounted on your wall. Follow the provided instructions for easy installation. For optimal placement, position the fireplace at least 8 inches below the ceiling or below a mounted flat screen TV, considering its heating feature. We recommend placing the fireplace at least 6 inches from the floor.

All this does this one have the crackling sound ?
Do all of the mattles open for shelving?
The Sideline Elite does not have a built-in crackling sound feature, but our standalone Fire Crackle Speaker accessory is available separately and can be added at any time. Only our hidden-storage mantel models open to provide storage. Other mantel models do not open.
I will be installing this fireplace in a home in Argentina, which has 230 V, 50 Hz power receptacles. I have the capacity to either use the plug-in or hard-wire version for installation, but will need a step-down transformer. What size do you recommend? Also, can you ship this product via DHL to my address in Argentina?

The Sideline Elite electric fireplace is designed for AC 110–120V, 60Hz power and is rated at 1500W. We do not support or recommend using a step-down transformer to operate the fireplace on a 230V electrical system. We also do not currently ship directly to Argentina.

No, the heat comes out through the center vent located above the fireplace display area. The vents on either side are used for air circulation and do not blow heated air.

I am interested in the Sideline Elite 60 but have a question regarding the log set. Can its be changed out for something more modern?
The Sideline Elite 60 includes two media options: a traditional faux log set, and a combination of clear crystals and driftwood.
For a more modern look, many customers choose the crystals and driftwood.
These media options are designed to be used separately and should not be combined.
Which fireplace is recommended for my wall that is 160 inches wide by 96 inches height?
For a wall that size (160" wide × 96" high), a 60" or 72" fireplace is typically a good fit.
A 72" model is a popular choice for larger walls like this, as it helps anchor the space while still leaving room on either side for furniture or shelving.
If you’re looking for a more dramatic, built-in look or planning a media wall, an 84" fireplace can also work well as a larger focal point.
Are these fireplaces rated for outdoor, install on lanai in Florida ??

The power cord is 6 ft (72") long. It exits from the bottom-right corner when facing the front of the fireplace (bottom-left when viewing the unit from the rear).

Yes! All of our fireplaces can be operated with flames only, no heat.
