The heart of Touchstone’s electric fireplaces is the impressive flame display. These flames deliver the same relaxing effect as real flames without the hassle. They create a cozy atmosphere in any room and offer 60 color combinations for customization. Operate the heat and flame settings conveniently with the remote control (batteries not included) or mobile app.
The Sideline Elite® provides heat that takes the edge off a cool bedroom, family room or basement. It has two heat settings and a thermostat mode and can warm up a room up to 400 sq. ft. Please note that it is not intended to be the primary heat source but rather to supplement your existing heating system. Control the heat settings using the remote, app or the built-in heat timer.
The versatile Sideline Elite electric fireplace can be inserted into or mounted on your wall. Follow the provided instructions for easy installation. For optimal placement, position the fireplace at least 8 inches below the ceiling or below a mounted flat screen TV, considering its heating feature. We recommend placing the fireplace at least 6 inches from the floor.

All Touchstone mantels are designed for use with Touchstone Electric Fireplaces. If considering use with a different fireplace, we recommend consulting a professional installer for compatibility and safe installation.
1. Can it be controlled with a smartphone?
Yes, this electric fireplace can be controlled with a smartphone. It is Wi-Fi enabled and can be connected to compatible smart home devices through the app for added convenience.
2. Does this fireplace require venting?
No. This fireplace is vent-free and does not require a chimney, gas line, or external venting.
3. Is it safe to use under a TV?
Yes, it's safe to mount under a TV, as the unit stays cool on the sides and back; just allow at least 8 inches of space above.

Hi. what is the height of the fire place from the finished floor to where the fire place starts? How much space we need to leave between the tv and fire place?
We recommend installing the fireplace with at least 6 inches of clearance between the finished floor and the bottom of the fireplace. If mounting a TV above the fireplace, we also recommend leaving at least 8 inches between the top of the fireplace and the bottom of the TV (or anything else you plan to mount above the fireplace).
Do you install as well
Touchstone does not offer installation services. The installation process is straightforward, and many customers handle it as a DIY project. If you prefer professional help, services like TaskRabbit or a local contractor/handyman can assist.
