What is the minumum clearance to the bottom of the tv? Recessed sideline elite 50”
For the Sideline Elite 50", we recommend a minimum of 8 inches of clearance between the top of the fireplace and the bottom of the TV.
Can other more realistic logs be added to 50” Sideline? Logs fromm other companies?
You may be able to use other ember bed media with the 50" Sideline as long as it fits properly. Keep in mind that adding additional media can block or distract from the flame effect, so we recommend adding pieces gradually to achieve the look you want.
Are there any controls directly on the unit or are they only found on the remote? Also will it auto shut off after a certain amount of time- or any safety features to prevent overheating?
Yes, this model includes a control panel directly on the unit in addition to the remote. It also features a programmable shutoff timer and built-in overheat protection that will automatically turn the fireplace off if needed.
