To optimize performance and enhance ice quality, the Scotsman SCCG50MB-1SS Brilliance™ ice maker's control system detects and purges mineral-laden water with each harvest cycle, while its control panel provides power status, low-water alerts, and cleaning reminders. Built with R-134A refrigerant, this air-cooled unit can produce a maximum of 65 pounds of gourmet ice daily when conditions are ideal. These large cubes measure 1-inch by 1 1⁄8-inch by 1 1⁄4-inch and are slow melting so as to not dilute beverages too quickly.
Suitable for offices or residential spaces, the Scotsman SCCG50MB-1SS undercounter ice machine measures 14 7⁄8 inches wide by 22 inches deep by 34 3⁄8 inches high and can hold as much as 26 pounds of ice at a time. Its bin is illuminated to ease ice retrieval, and to minimize cold air leaks, its door is self-closing. For long-term durability, its cabinet and front panel are sturdy stainless steel. To streamline cleaning, this unit features a gravity-style drain system and should be installed near an existing floor drain.
