To change the speed and slice thickness, the Univex 8713S Premium™ automatic slicer has variable controls. It can cut as thick as 7⁄8 inch, and the speed is adjustable from 21 to 47 strokes per minute. This slicer has two modes of operation—automatic and manual—and a sharp, 13-inch-diameter blade that can be honed with an integrated sharpener.
This Univex 8713S variable speed slicer can accommodate 9-inch-diameter round product, 6 1⁄2-inch by 6 1⁄2-inch square product, and 10-inch by 6 1⁄2-inch rectangular product. Because the motor is gear driven, the slicer withstands medium- to heavy-duty applications, and it can be used for 8 hours a day with an unlimited amount of cheese. These gears transfer power from the motors to the blade, and they are more durable and reliable than units with a belt-driven motor.
Ideal for delis, sandwich shops, and grocery stores needing consistent, precise slicing of meats and cheeses.
