This model’s vegetable slicer and shredder feature a steel housing with a stainless steel cover, an S-shaped knife, hub and shaft, and a 5⁄16-inch shredding plate. The S-knife can be used for slicing lettuce, peppers, cucumbers, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, celery, and onions, while the shredding plate can be used for products as diverse as cabbage and bread for creating coleslaw and bread crumbs. Its on and off switch has a removable operator key to avoid unauthorized operation.

Once turned on and fitted with any compatible slicer disc and shredder attachment, this unit operates at 700 revolutions per minute. It's body is satin finished with an anodized aluminum housing; this creates an elegant exterior that withstands constant use in high-volume kitchens. For quick access and smooth operation, the chute door, latch, and feed pusher are hinged.
